WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): The day has started with foggy conditions and lingering showers moving across the region. Showers will continue on and off through the day, though chances are low as mostly cloudy skies prevail. Temperatures are also much cooler than we’ve seen over the last month, only reaching into the mid-70s. Thankfully, these temperatures will be here to stay for the next week or so. Lingering showers will continue through Saturday before we slowly clear up for the second half of the weekend into Monday next week. Tuesday will see a return to the typical summer pattern of pop-up showers in the afternoons through the middle of the week. Thankfully, temperatures will still be on the lower side until next weekend.
