Tamarack to reopen this Thursday with some renovations

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Like many other restaurants in the state, the Tamarack is expected to reopen this Thursday but will have a few changes.

Leah Dunmyer, a marketing director with the Tamarack, says the business has had plans to change how they operate since before the pandemic even began, so they’ve used the time while they were closed to change how their location operates.

“Before it was kind of a cafeteria-style, and obviously with the new guidelines that’s not gonna work anymore. And we were actually kind of reinventing this since before things closed down, so it’s kind of worked out in our favor. Now instead of the cafeteria-style, it will be you come up, order, take a seat and someone brings you your food,” Dunmyer said.

The Tamarack will also be encouraging social distancing, and according to Dunmyer, their vendors will have many new products available.
