BERWIND, WV (WOAY) – A suspicious person complaint lands one man in jail.
On July 7, 2020, deputies in McDowell County responded to a suspicious person complaint in Berwind, WV, upon arrival deputies made contact with a Donald Wade Steele.
Upon investigating, the Complaint deputies found a quantity of methamphetamine along with a large amount of cash and firearms.
Deputies arrested Donald Wade Steele and charged him with Possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine a schedule II controlled substance.
He was arraigned before Magistrate Steve Cox, and a bond of $50,000 was set. He was remanded into the McDowell County Holding unit awaiting transport to the Southwestern regional jail.
