Sunny Skies for a Fantastic Spring Week

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): While the Spring Equinox has yet to pass us by, we are getting an early taste of what spring will be like. Today has been a seasonable day with temperatures in the lower 50s, but that changes fast through the week. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has the delightful details:

Tomorrow is the start of an absolutely gorgeous week with sunny skies and temperature barely under 60 degrees. The rest of the week will see similar conditions and rising temperatures. While clouds will start populating the skies start Wednesday, that will only aid in the rise of temperatures. Thursday will be our first 70 degree day of the calendar year! Friday will follow in similar fashion as well, rounding out the week on a high note as clouds build.

Saturday is our next threat, as showers and storms will pummel the area during the weekend. A strong low pressure storm will sweep the plains on Friday, likely reaching near-record low pressure levels in the region. While the storm will weaken a bit as it moves up into Canada, the front that will come to our area won’t be light. We will monitor the situation closely and bring you the latest as we gain more information.
