WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Today will start off nice with temperatures in the 70s and mostly sunny skies, though that will change as we head to the evening commute. Storms and showers will start passing through after 5pm and last through the night tonight. No severe weather is expected tonight, but winds will whip up a bit as the front passes. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has your full forecast:
The rain will move out by tomorrow morning, leaving behind slightly cooler temperatures and mostly sunny skies. The pleasant conditions continue into Wednesday and Thursday, though each day will have a slight chance for isolated showers. Thursday night rain chances are greater as the next low pressure system could arrive early and produce rain before the main event on Friday.
Speaking of Friday, a warm front will pass through with storms and showers across the area. While there is not any severe weather expected yet, this could change as the event develops. The storms and showers will continue into Saturday as the cold front produced by the low pressure system will pass through. This part of the event will be more showers currently, though storms can also show up.
To end off the weekend, the rain will finally leave on Sunday. Temperatures will drop back to the high 60s, though that’s an east trade-off for mostly sunny skies and high pressure. Make sure you have the rain gear on hand through the week and to stay safe from incoming storms today and at the end of the week. Here’s your 7-Day Forecast:
