FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Many restaurants were heavily impacted by the pandemic, and some had to change the style of how they conduct business just to stay afloat.
Secret Sandwich Society was one that had to change to a fast-paced take-out style, and is now seeing more business than ever since the start of the pandemic.
Owner of the restaurant Lewis Rhinehart said he’s incredibly grateful that the community is showing their support.
“Having the support of the community behind us has been very humbling and we’re very grateful for that. We’ve kind of switched our model the way we approach the restaurant industry and just doing more of a fast, casual, take-out type of model and it’s just working incredibly well. Actually we’re just kind of shocked at how amazing it’s working.”
The Secret Sandwich Society is open for dine-in and carry out, and takes many precautions to keep patrons safe.
