Glen Daniel, WV (WOAY)—The West Virginia State Police Beckley detachment will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Raleigh County on Friday, May 16.
The checkpoint will be located at the intersection of WV Route 3 and WV Route 99 in Glen Daniel from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
The purpose of the checkpoint is to deter impaired driving and educate the public about the dangers of driving while under the influence.
Law enforcement asks the public to assist them by reporting intoxicated and drug-impaired drivers to authorities.
