WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Pocahontas, Nicholas, Greenbrier, and Raleigh Counties are experiencing a Winter Weather Advisory and Pocahontas is experiencing a Winter Storm Warning for the mountainous regions as snow and wind will be heavily impacting the area.
As the ball drops in 2025, we will see tonight’s rain turn into snow as we experience a significant temperature drop. We will get a break from the snow on Thursday, but the cold temperatures will not be going anywhere for the foreseeable future.
The weekend will have on-and-off snow and bitterly cold temperatures. These colder conditions will lead to a sloppy start heading into next week with rain, snow, and ice on the horizon. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has all the details:
