Severe Storms Eye Region, Then Refreshing Change On The Way

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): An approaching front will likely trigger gusty storms both Sunday and Monday.

Sunday: Storms with gusty winds that will lead to a handful of power outages appears likely between 4-8 p.m.

Memorial Day: Morning showers likely then a risk for gusty thunderstorms in the afternoon, best chance between 3-6 p.m.

NEXT WEEK: Cooler, less humid and dry weather likely. The coolest morning will be Thursday with lower 40s. Davis, W.Va., will likely drop into the upper 20s with frost and ***could end up with the U.S.’s coldest low temperature on Thursday at daybreak. A shower is possible Tuesday and Wednesday, then sunshine rules through next weekend. Temperatures will climb to average by Saturday!
