Seventh Annual Tommy Sizemore Memorial Food Drive Takes Place In Beckley Next Week

BECKLEY (NEWS RELEASE)- Mountain State Centers for Independent Living, an organization that supports
independent living for people with disabilities, is holding their Seventh Annual
Tommy Sizemore Food Drive.

People have delivered donated food to their Prince Street office for the food drive
as well as buying at food at Walgreens in Beckley and Beaver; and, at Kroger in
Beaver and Beckley Crossing, including $5 Feed American boxes sold by Food Lion
in Beckley and Sophia.

Special thanks to Food Lion for their donation of additional Feed America boxes to
the Tommy Sizemore Food Drive.

Anne Weeks, President/CEO of Mountain State said, “I believe in paying it forward
and helping others in thanks for the community supports that we receive”.
You can still drop off food at the 329 Prince Street office, or at the stores listed
above, through Monday, December 4. Come wave us on at 329 Prince Street on
Wednesday, December 6 at 10 a.m. as we head for Carpenter’s Corner for our
first delivery and Brian’s Safe House at 1:45.
