UPDATE 12:30 AM 5/25/2018– Officals on scene tell us all residents have been accounted for. They say 18 out of 22 apartments were damaged. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

FAIRLEA, WV (WOAY) – Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a large apartment fire in Greenbrier County.
Emergency Officials tell WOAY that a fire broke out at Perrine Apartments in Fairlea at 9:24 pm Thursday evening. Dispatchers say the initial call the apartment building was fully engulfed but that has not yet been confirmed. They advise people to avoid the area.
As of 10:30 pm, no one has been injured.
Fairlea Fire, Lewisburg Fire, Ronceverte Fire, Frankford Fire, White Sulphur Springs Fire, Alderson Fire, Rainelle Fire, Greenbrier County Emergency Services, Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, West Virginia State Police, Greenbrier County Homeland Security, and White Sulphur Springs Ambulance all responded to the scene.
