Beckley, WV (WOAY) – Next Saturday, June 14, downtown Beckley will launch a brand-new community event, Second Saturdays.
Organized by the Downtown Pulse committee, this monthly event will take place on the second Saturday of every month from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Local businesses downtown will open their doors, while pop-up booths will line Main Street, offering a diverse range of goods and activities.
The kickoff event coincides with Flag Day, and at 11 a.m., Mia Bailey will perform the National Anthem, followed by a special performance from Theatre West Virginia.
Tiffany’s on Main will celebrate a grand opening during the festivities.
The Downtown Pulse, comprising local business owners and organizations, collaborates closely with the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce to promote downtown and organize events like this.
