TAZEWELL COUNTY, VA (WOAY) – Tazewell County Public Schools confirms that an employee in the Bluefield area tested positive for coronavirus.
In a Facebook post Sunday night, officials say the health department is contacting families of students who may have been exposed. It has not been decided if those students need to quarantine.
It’s unclear what the employee’s position is at the school, but officials say the area the employee worked in has been cleaned.
Tazewell County schools reopened just six days ago.
