SALS Provides School Children with Lunches

As a reaction to the current work stoppage involving the closing of schools, the Southern Applachian Labor School provided take home food for many children.

The Register Herald reports that S.A.L.S director, John David, says that the staff was concerned that some of the children may go hungry, without their normal school meals.

The S.A.L.S afternoon program, is available for to children from Montgomery and Oak Hill.
