Rural King theft subjects found

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY)- Late Thursday evening, Lieutenant Jason L. Redden announced that three subjects from the Rural King thefts earlier this week have been identified.

Mary D. Ellison of Beckley is wanted for Grand Larceny.  Alan Thirl Adkins of Nimitz is wanted for 1st Offense Shoplifting.  James Earl Lehman is wanted for 2nd Offense Shoplifting.  Lehmen also has outstanding warrants in Fayette County.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office at (304) 255-9300 or Crime Stoppers.

The incidents occurred on Monday, June 29, when one of the males entered the Rural King Store around 2:45 p.m. walking out with an unpaid pair of shoes.

Around 8 p.m., a similar incident occurred.  The second suspect also selected a pair of boots from the shelf.  He placed the boots on his feet and the sandals back into the box.  This suspect also placed the box back on the shelf and exited the store with unpaid merchandise on his feet.

Also on Monday night, Ellison reportedly entered the store and selected multiple items, including tools valued at greater than one thousand dollars.  She then concealed the items and took them to a vehicle without paying for them.
