Road Closures In Greenbrier and Summers Counties

Be prepared for some traffic changes.

Starting Monday, February 26th, County Route 43, Fort Spring Pike will be closed to through traffic. It will stay closed from 8 am to 4 pm every day until Friday, March 1st while repairs are made on the Fort Spring Bridge.

Some good news however is that the school bus schedule will not change, and local traffic will have access to every property on both sides of the bridge.

The West Virginia Department of Highways requests that during this period you use different routes if available.

Also, the WVDOH states any inclement weather or unexpected circumstances may affect the project schedule but not the closure times.

Also, in Summers County, County Route 7, Ramp Road on milepost 16.72 will be closed from 7 am Monday, March 4th until Friday, March 15th to replace a deck.

Of course, poor weather or unexpected circumstances may affect the project’s schedule.

Local traffic is asked by the WVDOH to find alternate routes.

The WVDOH apologizes in advance and wants to remind drivers to stay safe and attentive on the roadways.
