WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) has been invited by President Trump to the White House tonight.
Rep. Jenkins plans to speak with the president about the importance of standing strong against terrorism while joining him for a screening of the new film The 15:17 to Paris, which tells the true story of three Americans who stopped an attempted terrorist attack on a train bound for Paris in 2015.
“I appreciate the invitation from President Trump to join him at the White House tonight. These meetings are an important opportunity for one-on-one time with the president to advocate for West Virginia’s priorities, and that includes a strong national defense. Our nation and our allies are facing threats from terrorist groups that jeopardize our way of life, and we must stand strong to defend freedom,” Rep. Jenkins said.
Rep. Jenkins also visited the White House earlier this month at the president’s invitation.
