Kellogg’s is recalling their Honey Smack cereal due to salmonella.

On behalf of all of us at Kellogg, we’re very sorry to tell you that we are voluntarily recalling all 15.3 oz. and 23 oz. packages of Kellogg’s® Honey Smacks® cereal because these products have the potential presence of Salmonella. The affected product was distributed in the United States as well as limited distribution in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, the Caribbean, Guam, Tahiti and Saipan.

No other Kellogg products are impacted by this recall. Kellogg learned about the situation and immediately launched an investigation with the third-party manufacturer who produces the food. The quality and safety of our foods is our top priority. We are taking steps to determine what happened and ensure it does not happen again. Images of the products and more information can be found
