Beckley, WV (WOAY) – Staff at Raleigh General Hospital recently went above and beyond to help a family celebrate a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
When a father was hospitalized just before his daughter’s wedding, hospital employees transformed his patient room into a ceremony space so he could walk his daughter down the aisle.
Nurses, department leaders, nutrition staff, and others worked together to make the special moment possible.
Hospital officials say while they can’t change every diagnosis, they’re grateful they could help create a memory the family will cherish forever.
