Beckley, WV (WOAY) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) has located a man who was on the run after slipping out of home confinement.
Sheriff Frank Priddy reports that on Sunday, June 15, authorities apprehended 47-year-old James Michael Harris Jr. in the 900 Block of Central Ave in Tolleytown for violating home confinement.
Harris was originally on home confinement for charges related to a 3rd offense DUI and operating an ATV on a lined roadway.
Sheriff Priddy and Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton credit Cpl. Talley and Deputy Bare for their quick response and professional efforts in arresting the suspect.
RCSO also thanks the citizens who submitted tips through Crime Stoppers.
Priddy states that the information received played a critical role in this case.
