RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – A Raleigh County man was arrested over the weekend after being wanted for breaking and entering in Mabscott.
According to the original criminal complaint, a Mabscott police officer recognized two individuals walking from a building in March, before examining the building. The officer noticed a lock broken off from the door and a book bag on the floor with a hammer.
This past weekend, one of the suspects was recognized as a passenger in a vehicle that had been stopped for a defective registration light. The suspect allegedly exited the vehicle and first walked, then ran away from the scene. The suspect was later located in a creek bed and arrested.
Rodney Webb has been charged with Breaking & Entering, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and Fleeing on Foot. He is in Southern Regional Jail on a $50,000 bail.
