Raleigh County Man Arrested For Entering A Home At Night And Threatening To Kill The Homeowners With A Gun

NAOMA, WV (WOAY) – A Raleigh County man is arrested and charged after he entered a home threatening to kill the homeowners with a gun.

On June 1, 2018, William Turner, 44, of Naoma, entered a home at night through a window intending to burglarize it. The defendant said he entered the home through the window because it was already open.

Once inside he entered the front window he got into a domestic with the the homeowners and pointed a gun at them.  The homeowners told police that he was going to kill them.

Turner admitted to entering the home but said he didn’t point the gun at them. He said the homeowner started spitting and throwing items at him. Turner told the homeowner that he had a gun and to stop spitting and throwing items at him.

Turner is being held in the Southern Regional Jail under a 15,000 dollar bond.
