Raleigh County Man Arrested For Breaking Into A Car And Stealing Tools

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – One man is in jail after breaking into a car.

According to a criminal complaint, a deputy with the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department was called to a home on Property Road on Tuesday in regards to a break-in.  The deputy saw the suspect walking along the road fitting the description of the suspect.

The man was identified as Nickolas Bragg and was carrying tools and a gas can.  When the deputy arrived at the victim’s home she identified the hammer found on the defendant as an item that was taken out of the truck.

Bragg was charged with petit larceny and entering without breaking.  He is being held in the Southern Regional Jail under a 2,500 dollar bond.
