FAIRDALE, WV (WOAY) – A Raleigh County man is in jail after firing a gun shot towards a man and striking him with nunchucks.
According to a criminal complaint, on Monday, November 26, 2018, Jack Massey started striking a man in the head with nunchucks causing injury. Massey then got into his Nissan Pathfinder and got it stuck in a ditch across the road from the victim’s residence. Massey grabbed a 17 caliber rifle and fired one round in the direction of the victim and his fiancee.
State Police was able to recover the rifle after Massey tried to pawn it for money.
Massey is charged with wanton endangerment, malicious assault, and a prohibited person with a firearm. He is being held in the Southern Regional Jail under a 75,000 dollar bond.
