A prowler complaint leads to the arrests of 2 people in Raleigh County

Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – A prowler complaint results in the arrest of two people in Raleigh County.

According to a Facebook post from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, Corporal R. McDaniel responded to a prowler complaint in the Colcord area of Raleigh County.

Cpl. McDaniel was informed by the person who made the complaint that two people, later identified as Justin Hunter Runion and Lindsey Danielle Taylor had allegedly entered a building and were in the process of removing property.

Through further investigation Cpl. Mcdaniel located the alleged suspects and placed them under arrest.

Justin Hunter Runion and Lindsey Danielle Taylor have been charged with Entering Without Breaking, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Trespassing, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Conspiracy to Commit a Misdemeanor and Petit Larceny.

During the arrest, Cpl. McDaniel also recovered approximately 0.64 grams of suspected Fentanyl, a Schedule II controlled substance.
