Raleigh Co. Humane Society requesting year end help

RALEIGH CO., WV (NEWS RELEASE) – In just the past two months, we have taken in 151 animals – most needing extraordinary medical care due to neglect or accidents. This does not go without a great cost. We are reaching out to the community once again seeking support of our mission of saving the animals of Raleigh County.

The community has been faithful to support us in the past and we incredibly are thankful for that.  Without it, our mission of providing for and finding homes for the many homeless, lost, or abused animals that come through our doors would not be possible.

As the year of 2017 closes, we are asking members of the community to consider a year end gift to the Humane Society of Raleigh County to help us continue to provide necessary food, shelter, meet medical needs, and relocation for the animals in our care. We are fortunate that we can operate a “no kill” shelter in Raleigh County and work with rescue groups and adopters to provide forever homes for our furry friends. We ensure that each animal that comes through our doors is given any medical care needed, standard vaccinations,  is microchipped, and spayed or neutered before they leave our care.

Donations can be made in person or by mail at The Humane Society of Raleigh County at 325 Grey Flats Rd, Beckley, WV, 25801.  If you’re online, you can go to our website www.hsrcwv.org and click on the “Donate” button.  Please note “Year End” in the Purpose of Donation field. You can also contribute through our Facebook site. We are a 501 c organization so donations are tax deductible
