Princeton Man Arrested After Confessing To Five Burglaries

PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – The Princeton Police Department makes an arrest after a man burglarized five homes.

Beginning in early September 2018, members of the Princeton Police Department began to respond to several burglaries throughout the City of Princeton. During the investigations, officers were able to obtain a general description of a male suspect via video surveillance.

In the late night hours of December 2nd, 2018, officers began to patrol specific neighborhoods heavily. While conducting one of these patrols, two evening shift officers stayed in a particular area for approximately three hours attempting to locate this suspect.

During this patrol, officers observed a male walking in a neighborhood near Low Gap Road and began having a consensual conversation with him.

At that time officers identified him as Isaiah Hall. Mr. Hall was arrested a short time later for possession of several controlled substances. Upon his arrest, officers interviewed with Mr. Hall about recent burglaries in the area.Mr. Hall subsequently confessed to five home burglaries throughout the City of Princeton.

Mr. Hall was then transported to Southern Regional Jail. Mr. Hall should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
