President Trump to Attend Jamboree

GLEN JEAN– It looks like President Donald Trump will be in town soon!

Senator Shelley Moore Capito tweeted Friday evening that the president would be attending the National Boy Scout Jamboree on Monday July 24th. Capito released a statement saying, “I’m thrilled President Trump will be making his first trip to West Virginia as president on Monday. At the Jamboree, the president will have an opportunity to see the future leaders of our country. I look forward to welcoming him to the Mountain State.”

Trump will become the eighth U.S. president to attend a Jamboree.

There has been no word on where and what time the President will come, however the Boy Scouts released a statement saying the event will not be open to the public.
