Possible School Threat Prompts Extra Security At Wyoming County Schools

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Possible school threats have prompted extra security and police at Mullens Middle School.

They Wyoming County Board Of Education posted the following post on Facebook: “Wyoming County Schools has an important message regarding Mullens Middle School. Law enforcement is investigating a possible threat made through social media. While it is not fully clear that the threat was directed at Mullens Middle School, we take student safety very seriously. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, law enforcement will be present within the school on, Monday, September 10, 2018, and as needed.

Thank you to the students, parents, and citizens who reported this possible safety concern.”
