UPDATE: Police Searching For Missing 16 Month Old Girl In Putnam County

UPDATE: Missing 16-month-old from Putnam County has been found safe.  Sheriff Steve Deweese said that she was brought to the courthouse by her grandmother.



PUTNAM COUNTY (WOAY)- The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help in locating a 16-month old girl who has been missing since November 28th.

Braylee May Greene of Hurricane, Putnam County, West Virginia, is still missing. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, weighs approximately 30 lbs and is tall for her age of 16 months. She has a red birthmark covering a toe.

Braylee was believed to have been concealed by her mother, Leslie Greene, of Hurricane, who is currently incarcerated in Barboursville. The child’s mother has charges pending against her for child concealment, violation of protective order, domestic battery and child neglect creating risk of injury.

The child was last seen on November 28th at Forrest Burdette Day Care in Hurricane when the child was picked up by Leslie Greene’s ex-husband, Benjamin Greene, of Sissonville, Kanawha County, who has also been charged with aiding child concealment.

Braylee Greene’s whereabouts are reportedly unknown to her other family members.
