Police Looking for Woman Who Robbed A Dollar General In McDowell Co.

LEX, WV (WOAY) – Police need your help on finding a woman who robbed a Dollar General in McDowell County on Christmas Eve.

On Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017 at approx. 730 pm an armed robbery was committed at the Dollar General Store located in Lex, McDowell County.

Store employees witnessed a white female enter the store armed with a black in color semi-auto pistol demanding money.

The female was clothed in faded blue jeans, wearing a black jacket with hood and a black in color ski mask. The female was stated to be approx. 5’9″ to 5’10” tall and slender, with light blue eyes and raspy voice. The female left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of US currency. A possible accomplice vehicle may have been in the store’s lot.

Security video is being examined and the investigation is still pending.
