Pocahontas County confirms two new cases of COVID-19

POCAHONTAS COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Pocahontas County Health Department confirms two more positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the county total up to four.

Health officials say they can not disclose the location of the two people, but they could confirm they were travel related.

They are working to contact people that may have been in contact with the two positive people.

They urge everyone to practice social distance, wear a mask, and wash your hands often.

The first two positive cases have recovered.
