Pocahontas County confirms its first positive case of COVID-19

POCAHONTAS COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Pocahontas County Health Department confirms its first positive case of COVID-19.

The Health Department says the case is travel related. The person is in quarantine and being treated at an out of county facility elsewhere in West Virginia. The Health Department is working to contact those who may have had contact.

No other information will be released to protect the privacy of the patient.
