Plexiglass sales up due to coronavirus

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – While many businesses have struggled since the start of the pandemic, there is one industry that hasn’t seen the same hardships.

Companies like Fayette Awning and Glass are the go-to for businesses wanting plexiglass or something similar to separate employees from customers. In the past four months, the manager says they’ve sold the same amount of plexiglass that they would typically sell over several years.

“We’ve been fortunate above a lot of businesses for the simple fact that we actually carry a product that people had to have,” said manager Rob Long. “A lot of businesses, unfortunately, restaurants and different things, aren’t in that situation. It’s changed a great deal more for them.”

If your business is in need of plexiglass to protect the public, Fayette Awning and Glass offers both the product and installation.
