WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Today will be the best day out of the remainder of the week as temperatures warm up the skies will stay sunny all day long. However, we’ve still got some rainy weather on the horizon. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has your full 7-Day Forecast:
After the great day today, we’ll see the next front comes through below a low pressure system hitting the Great Lakes region. This front will bring rain and some storms both Thursday and Friday, though no severe weather is expected in our area. However, Kentucky and Tennessee will see some strong to severe storms across their area. We expect these storms to weaken when they reach our area, though we will keep you updated as we get information.
The weekend will start much the same as Thursday and Friday, with showers lingering until evening time. After the rain leaves, clouds will diminish through the day Sunday, giving us a break from the showers and storms.
The start of next week is looking magnificent, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures reaching into the 70s as warmer air comes through the area. Cherish the good days though, as a quick hitting front will bring rain Tuesday morning across the area. Still, we will stay warmer next week as winter is start to finally make its way out of West Virginia.
