Pizza Hut Delivers Free Pizza To First Responders In Beckley

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – One pizza company made over 50 special deliveries today.

Thanksgiving came early for Pizza Hut communities across the country today, including right here in the Mountain state. It’s called “A Day Of Giving” where Pizza Hut delivers pizza to local EMT, Police, Fire Departments, and others. The company says it’s a way to give back to the community and show just how important the neighbors of the local restaurants are.

“It’s very important for us to give back to the community, our business has been growing and we have to show appreciation.  Every year we love them, we want them to keep them coming back and let them know we appreciate them,” said Matt Coleman, District Manager

Nearly 400,000 families have been fed over the past eight years and they hope a day of giving will be an example that inspires other local businesses to lend a hand.
