RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – WOAY has confirmed a pedestrian was struck early Thursday morning in Raleigh County.
According to dispatchers, a call came around 4:45 AM regarding an incident at the intersection of Stanaford Road and Bataan Street; the extent of the person’s injuries are unknown at this time. Two Jan Care Ambulance units arrived, with the pedestrian transported to a local hospital.
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department and Bradley-Prosperity Volunteer Fire Department were also among those responding to the scene.
