MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – One person died on the Hatfield and McCoy Trail when one person wrecked their ATV.
Katie Willard tells WOAY that The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources Police is investigating an ATV incident that happened May 22, 2018, on the Hatfield and McCoy Trail System, which resulted in a fatality.
The incident occurred on Indian Ridge Trail 14 in McDowell County, a shared trail, which means it is also a paved county road.
The investigation is ongoing.
