Mercer County, WV (WOAY)- One person is dead and another injured following a violent domestic disturbance overnight.
Around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, deputies with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call on Harmon School Road.
When they arrived, they found two individuals with stab wounds. Tragically, one victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies gave the second victim emergency care until EMS arrived, then rushed them to Princeton Community Hospital for further treatment.
Authorities say the suspect was arrested on-site without incident.
At this time, no names have been released, and investigators say the case remains active and ongoing.
