One Person Airlifted After Vehicle Rolls Over In Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY (WOAY) – A motor vehicle accident in Fayette County resulted in driver entrapment.

At about 11:00 am this morning the Fayette County 911 Center was notified of a roll-over motor vehicle accident in the Wriston area of Fayette County on Deepwater Mountain Road (WV Rt. 61).

First responders found that the lone occupant of the vehicle was entrapped and required extrication, which was performed by the Oak Hill and Loop Creek Fire Departments. Aeromedical was dispatched to transport the driver.

This accident remains under investigation by Sergeant L.A. Crisp and Deputy First Class E.A. Shrewsbury of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
