UPDATE: One Person Air Lifted To Charleston After ATV Accident In Fayetteville

UPDATE: FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – An ATV accident sends one to the hospital in Fayette County. Sheriff Mike Fridley released the following information regarding this incident.

Late Saturday evening Fayette County 911 dispatchers were notified of an ATV accident on James Road in Beckwith. The responding Deputy Sheriff found that the operator of the quad crashed due to a tire blow out. The 28 year old male operator suffered a serious head injury and was flown to Charleston Area Medical Center for treatment.

The current condition of the patient is unknown at this time.

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – One Person has been flown to Charleston General Hospital after an ATV Accident.

Dispatch tells WOAY that the call came in at around 10:30 pm of a single ATV accident in Fayetteville. One person was injured and flown to Charleston General Hospital.

The extent of the injuries and the cause of the accident is unknown at this time.

Fayetteville Fire Department, Jan Care Ambulance, and Fayette COunty Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
