One Man Arrested, Six Others Cited For Narcotics In Fayette County

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County man is in jail on a felony weapon charge. Sheriff Mike Fridley released the following information regarding this incident.

On Friday evening Deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department executed search warrants at two residences at Shilo Mobile Home Court near Oak Hill. Investigators were attempting to locate potentially stolen firearms. A search of one of the two residences yeilded two hand guns.

The resident at this location, Demetran Devon Gray (40 of Oak Hill), was arrested for the felony offense of Prohibited Person In Possession of a Firearm. Gray has prior felony convictions which prevents him from owning or possessing firearms. Gray is also on Probation and Parole at this time. The Fayette County Probation Office has placed a hold on him as a result of this arrest. Gray was transported to the Southern Regional Jail to await arraignment. While at this location, Deputies issued citations to six individuals for Possession of Narcotics.
