One Dead, One Injured In A Car Crash In Wyoming County

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – One person is dead, another injured after two cars crashed in Wyoming County.

Deputies tell WOAY that on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, they responded to a two-car MVA on Route 97 just east of Pineville. Zenith Harless, 89, of Clearfork was driving a white Malibu traveling west on Route 97 when she ran off the road and struck a guardrail.  She then reentered the roadway and crossed the center line striking a black truck traveling east on Route 97.  The driver of the black truck was 52 years old of Maben, WV.

The 89-year-old woman died at the scene and the other driver was transported to the Hosptial with unknown injuries.
