One Arrested in Greenbrier County Murder Over Missing Cell Phone

GREENBRIER COUNTY– One person has been arrested after a man was shot with a bow in Greenbrier County on Tuesday night.

State Police tell us Tuesday around 5pm they responded to the Crichton area and found Carl Rich had shot Jay Booth with a compound hunting bow in the chest area. The two men were fighting over a missing cell phone.

Booth was transported to the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center where he later died.

Carl Rich fled the scene in a car but was eventually captured by police. He has been charged with first degree murder.
