Oak Hill Woman Found In Ditch, Bites An EMS Worker

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – An Oak Hill woman is arrested after she bites an EMS official.

According to court documents, deputies responded to a report of a woman in a ditch at Fayette Clinic on Lochgelly Road.  Once emergency officials arrived they found her laying in the grass.  The deputy asked her multiple times for her name and she just stared at them.   They tried to evaluate her but she refused and began cussing.  The woman continued to refuse to give her name.

When the deputy asked her to exit the ambulance she remained seated and stared at him.  The deputy had to use minimal force to remove her from the EMS truck.  When the paramedic was assisting the deputy, the woman bit him on his upper left arm.

The suspect was later identified as Brandi N. Robertson.  She was taken to Southern Regional Jail and charged with battery on EMS and obstructing. Robertson remains in jail under a 5,000 dollar bond.
