Oak Hill Student Accepted To Air Force Academy

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY)  – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) announced today that Thomas Daniel Ingram of Oak Hill has been admitted to the U.S. Air Force Academy. Rep. Jenkins nominated Thomas to the academy, and the academy has offered him admission to the Class of 2022.

Thomas, 22, is the son of Thomas Ingram and Christy Ingram. He is a graduate of Oak Hill High School and is a current cadet candidate at the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

“I am proud to congratulate Thomas on his admission to the Air Force Academy and am confident that he embodies the best that West Virginia has to offer. Thomas is already preparing for his life of service as a cadet at the Air Force Prep School, and I know he will represent our state well. I am grateful for Thomas’s willingness to serve and wish him all the best,” Rep. Jenkins said.

Rep. Jenkins nominated 12 West Virginia high school students to U.S. military service academies this year, and Thomas is the fifth to be offered admission by an academy.
