Oak Hill to hold public hearing regarding proposed amendments for city manager requirements on March 20

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY)- The city of Oak Hill has scheduled a public hearing to discuss proposed charter amendments regarding the city manager’s residency requirements. 

The hearing is set for Thursday, March 20, at 6:00 pm in the city hall. 

Officials advise residents to address objections to amendments in writing to Damita Johnson at 100 Kelly Avenue in Oak Hill. 

If no objections are filed, the proposed amendments will take effect on Monday, March 31.  

Copies of charter amendments will be available to the public at Oak Hill City Hall on Thursday, February 13. 

The amendment will also be available on the city’s website under the latest news tab.
