Oak Hill Man Arrested For Getting Into A Fight With His Father

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – An Oak Hill man was arrested for physically assaulting his father.

According to Fayette County Deputies, Eric Scott Dorsey II had physically assaulted his father.  The father told deputies that he got into the vehicle with his son to attempt to keep him from going to Beckley to sell a television and get drugs.   Dorsey was driving erratically down the road and asked to let him out, which he wouldn’t.

Once the father got out of the car, Dorsey came at him aggressively saying, “I am going to beat your brains out and teach you a lesson.” The altercation led to a fight in which the son began striking him several times.   Deputies observed dried blood and lacerations to both eyes.

Dorsey is charged with domestic battery and is being held in the Southern Regional Jail under a 2,500 dollar bond.
