Oak Hill Man Arrested After Thousands in Drugs, Cash Found in His Home

OAK HILL– An Oak Hill man has been arrested on multiple drug charges.

Brian Wingrove is facing two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, prohibited person in possession of a firearm as well as a parole violation.

On Wednesday The Oak Hill Police Depart and WV Division of Corrections Parole Services went to Wingrove’s home in Rosedale Trailer Park to serve a parole violation warrant. Officers found methamphetamine inside the home. The Central WV Drug Task Force was then notified and a search warrant was obtained.

While executing the search warrant, officers found four ounces of meth with a street value of around $6,000, 47 Suboxone strips with a street value of around $1,175, $2,300 in cash and a stolen .380 caliber handgun.

Wingrove was taken to Southern Regional Jail.
