Oak Hill Fire Department Earned ISO Classification

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY)- Oak Hill Fire Department earned a record ISO classification.


Earlier this year,  The International Standards Organization better known as ISO, which helps communities evaluate their public fire-protection services, has given Oak Hill Fire Department a Public Protection Classification score a 3 out of 10 rating.


This classification will help most insurers factor the ISO information into the formulas they use to determine insurance premiums. Home insurance rates vary widely and are based on many different variables.

The Oak Hill Chief, Tim Richardson says, “The main focus of our fire service is to keep people safe. We also work to save their property.”


This is highest rating that Oak Hill Fire Department as being given. A huge congratulations goes out to Oak Hill Fire Department.
